On March 14, 2019, Vice President of China University of Geosciences (Beijing) Wan Li, Professor Wang Chengyu, Deputy Director of Science and Technology Department Yang Xiaogang, Yin Yi, Associate Dean of Engineering and Technology College Yue Wen, CEO of Maxwell Standardization Office Zheng Accompanied by leaders such as Yao Wuzhou, deputy director of the Zhengzhou High-tech Zone Management Committee, Mr. Bo visited the Henan University of Technology. At the symposium, Zhu Wenli first extended a warm welcome to the visiting experts of the China University of Geosciences and the High-tech Zone Management Committee. Zou Wenjun introduced the development of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, the advantages of scientific research and the results of production, study and research. The two sides combined Zhengzhou City and the two universities to develop the location advantages, talent advantages and technological advantages of superhard materials, and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the joint construction of the China-EU Frontier Materials Collaborative Innovation Research Institute.
Wanli said that Henan University of Technology has irreplaceable traditional advantages in the national superhard materials industry. It is hoped that cooperation and synergy will be strengthened in the future, and the road of integration of production, education and research will be broadened.
Zhu Wenxue stated that Henan University of Technology will actively participate in the preparatory work for the China-Europe Frontier Materials Collaborative Innovation Institute, and provide necessary policies and support for people and property to jointly create a highland for the production, study and research of superhard materials.
Before the meeting, Wanli and his entourage visited the engineering training center of Henan University of Technology, the exhibition room and laboratory of superhard materials.
